Foundation for Lifelong Learning

The confidence, self-discipline, and solid academic foundation instilled as a result of the Carden Method prepare our students for social and academic leadership. Howard graduates often qualify for Gifted and Talented Programs. Our graduates have attended secondary schools including Cate, Bishop Diego, Laguna Blanca and Thatcher, and have gone on to colleges including Harvard, MIT, Otis College, Berkeley and UCLA.

Talented Faculty

Our dedicated teaching staff is led by Headmaster Joel Reed, a certified Carden Specialist and Carden Teacher for 14 years. Classroom teachers, with as many as 30 years of Carden teaching experience, are trained in the Carden method. Specialty teachers are professionals in their areas of expertise.
